Joe Michalski entered the heating and air conditioning business in 1979. After working for a few local companies, Joe decided to go off on his own, opening JR Michalski Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. in 1990. Joe worked out of the garage of his home for nearly 10 years. Throughout the years, Joe has steadily grown his business, ultimately leading him to a larger shop in Hulmeville Borough. Joe has stayed in the area since and continues to keep his business flourishing.
Joe’s two children are currently working hard for the business. His son, Brett Michalski, is the Service Technician. Brett has been working with his father since middle school, learning the trade by going on service calls and estimates with his father whenever possible. Once out of high school, Brett became fully employed and learned the technician end of the business. He has plans to take ownership of the business within the near future. Dana Michalski, Joe’s daughter, also is involved in the business. She works part-time in the office while continuing her education. You can find her in the office answering phones, taking care of the social media aspect part of the business, and doing inventory.
Joe’s installation crew, service technicians and office staff bring years of experience to the business. They are also very dedicated to providing our customers with the best service. Ruth is the secretary and office manager. Ruth has been working in the office with Joe for over 10 years. They work side by side to ensure that business continues to run smoothly and our customers are receiving the services we provide. Tony, has been with the company for over 12 years. Tony is the lead installation technician for all HVAC installations. You can also find Tony in the shop making the custom ductwork orders, as well. Tony’s son, Mike, works side by side with his father doing installs and making custom ductwork. Mike has been with the company for over 4 years. He continues to learn the trade from his father, along with learning the service end of the business.

Our company offers full custom duct fabrication and installation services. All custom ductwork are made in our own sheet metal shop. We have a comprehensive line of machinery, such as press brakes, rollers, spot welders, and hydraulic presses, and we have the capability to fabricate just anything out of a metal sheet.
